Which links can earn

Links to Square, Canva, Wix, Squarespace, and Hostinger may earn us a commission. Nothing else on the site does. Links to Google, Adobe, and Microsoft documentation are plain URLs with no tracking attached.

Note the pattern: of the five products this site actually reviews, only two — Square Online and Canva — belong to companies with programs that can pay us anything. Google Sites, Adobe Express, and Power Pages generate no revenue for us under any circumstance, which is, as the about page explains, a large part of why nobody else reviews them. The economics that made this site necessary also make it a mediocre business. We find that clarifying.

What commissions do not buy

Scores. The ranking ladder on the comparison page is set from documented capability and verified pricing before any link is placed — and its second position is held by a product that has never paid a commission to anyone. Vendors cannot purchase placement, request edits, or preview coverage.

If a recommendation ever changes, it will be because the documentation changed, and the changelog will say so.
